The Republican public organization "Tajik Network of Women Living with HIV" within the framework of the project "Partnership for improving the quality of life of adolescents living with HIV and expanding their opportunities by connecting to the existing peer platform in the EECA region - "Teenergizer", funded by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Republic of Tajikistan.
As part of the national HIV prevention and response plan for 2021-2025, in May and June 2023, several educational events were held in schools for high school students (10-11) using a specially developed tool within the framework of the regional program Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (German Society for International Cooperation) in the field of healthcare in Central Asia" The "safety route", which is adapted by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and is conducted in the format of "equality".
More than 300 exhibits from the city of Dushanbe took part in our exhibition. The "Risk-free Route" program includes 6 topics; "the path of HIV transmission", "Living with HIV", "forcing a serious decision", "Contraceptives and antitumor drugs", and "Questions and Answers".
We thank the management of the secondary school numbers 8, 1, 54, 92 and the Lyceum named after Asaddulo Gulyamov and also the special Blagoveshchensk Department of Education of the city of Dushanbe, represented by Bobozod Asomiddin, for their assistance in holding events in these schools.
